Our Procedures

Adhesiolysis

This procedure involves breaking down scar tissue or adhesions that may be causing pain or restricting movement in the body.

Blood Patch

A blood patch is an injection of the patient's own blood into the spinal canal to seal a leak and relieve symptoms of a cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak.

Botox Injections

Botox, a neurotoxin, is injected into specific muscles to temporarily paralyze them and reduce muscle contractions or spasms.

Epidural Steroid

An epidural steroid injection involves the injection of corticosteroids into the epidural space of the spine to reduce inflammation and relieve pain caused by conditions such as herniated discs or spinal stenosis.

Facet Joint

This procedure involves injecting a local anesthetic and/or steroid medication into the facet joints or the nerves supplying these joints to relieve pain caused by facet joint arthritis or injury.

Hardware Injection

In some cases, hardware such as screws or plates used in previous surgeries can cause pain or discomfort. A hardware injection involves injecting medication near the hardware to alleviate pain.

Knee Injection

Injection of medications such as corticosteroids or hyaluronic acid into the knee joint to alleviate pain and inflammation caused by conditions like arthritis or injury.

Kyphoplasty

A surgical procedure used to treat vertebral compression fractures. A balloon-like device is inserted into the fractured vertebra and inflated to create space, followed by the injection of bone cement to stabilize the fracture.

Lumbar Discography

This diagnostic procedure involves injecting contrast dye into the discs of the lumbar spine to identify the source of back pain.

Lumbar Selective Nerve Root

A procedure where medication is injected around a specific nerve root in the lumbar spine to alleviate pain caused by nerve compression or irritation.

Lumbar Sympathetic Block

Injection of anesthetic medication near the sympathetic nerves in the lumbar region to relieve pain caused by conditions such as complex regional pain syndrome or peripheral vascular disease.

Nerve Block

Injection of anesthetic medication or steroids around a specific nerve or group of nerves to alleviate pain in a specific area of the body.

Neuro-stimulator

Implantation of a device that delivers electrical stimulation to the spinal cord or specific nerves to help relieve chronic pain.

Rhizotomy

A procedure that involves using heat or radiofrequency energy to disrupt the function of specific nerves, reducing pain signals from reaching the brain.

Sacroiliac Joint Injection

Injection of anesthetic medication and/or corticosteroids into the sacroiliac joint to alleviate pain caused by sacroiliac joint dysfunction or inflammation.

Selective Nerve Blocks

Injection of medication around specific nerves to diagnose and treat pain in a particular area of the body.

Spinal Cord Stimulation

Implantation of a device that delivers electrical impulses to the spinal cord to alleviate chronic pain.

Stellate Ganglion Block

Injection of anesthetic medication into the stellate ganglion, a group of nerves located in the neck, to relieve pain in the head, face, or upper extremities.

Trigger Point Injection

Injection of anesthetic medication or corticosteroids into specific trigger points, which are knots or tight bands of muscle, to alleviate pain and muscle tension.
